Our Story : Church Background

In 2008, April 5, this Church was established not by the human understanding, nor by the intellect of some theologians but by the spirit of the Lord when Missionary Evangelist Mrs. Aleno Peseyie and Mr. Silvanus Bhandari was led and driven by Church planting concept from God. They were newly wedded and convinced and convicted by the scripture to plant Church in Kathmandu valley...

VISION

We envisioned our Church as the place where each individual transformed into strong and committed disciples of Jesus Christ who not only long to get eternal life but also to build His kingdom here on earth.

MISSION

To build the saints of God to help and build others in the areas of spiritual and physical life through reaching, teaching, training and releasing.

Heman Rai

He was born in a 'Hindu' family in Eastern City of Nepal called Dharan. Even though he was born in Hindu family, he later gave his life to Christ in 1999, decided to follow him for the rest of his life. This decision has not only brought him in this situation to serve mighty God full timely but also he led his almost all family in-laws to Christ.

Vishal Gurung

Pastor

He was born and brought in Nagaland, North East India in Hindu family where he used to observe all kinds of rites and rituals of Hindu customs. He also used to attend Sunday school and even fellowship in the Church but only in 2002 he received Christ Jesus as his personal Lord and savior. Ever since, he has been following his footprints and now God brought him in the city of Kathmandu Nepal to serve him through Kathmandu Valley Baptist Church.
